If you're currently sobbing over the end of Sunday night's shocking end to "The Walking Dead," stop.

You're going to want to go back and rewatch the last minute of the show because you probably missed a few big things. I know I did the first time I watched a press screener of the episode.

This is your last chance to head back before we take a deep dive!

All right. Let's recap.

Glenn and Michonne were taken hostage by Dwight and the Saviors. Daryl and Rosita went after them; however, they were caught by Dwight and another Savior at the episode's end.

Viewers hear Dwight say, "Hi Daryl." As the fan favorite slowly turns to face his captor, Daryl gets shot and the episode fades to black.

This is probably where you lost it.

What just happened? Was Daryl killed? Did "The Walking Dead" just kill off one of fan's favorite characters?

If you thought Daryl was brutally killed, you're going to want to do a quick rewind and slow down of the episode.

A frame by frame break down shows that Dwight did not aim his gun at Daryl's head. He was aiming toward his chest or shoulder. Blood spraying out from Daryl before it completely obscures the right-hand side of the screen shows that the site of impact is around Daryl's arm or chest.

If you're still freaking out about Daryl, you probably missed the line at the end of the episode.

After the episode fades to black you can hear Dwight (Austin Amelio) say, "Don't worry. You'll be all right."

During an interview with Tech Insider Thursday afternoon, Amelio told us that line was added in later by showrunner Scott Gimple so fans wouldn't have a really negative reaction to Dwight's character.

"It's interesting Scott [Gimple] was so afraid that people were going to hate me so much that he actually added in a line for me at the end so I would be hated less," Amelio told us. "That wasn't in the script originally. Then Scott called me up a couple weeks ago and he's like, 'We should put in this line at the end here because I just don't want people hating you TOO much.' And I was like, 'Oh, okay. Great! Thanks, Scott. I appreciate that.'"

So yes, don't worry. Daryl was not killed off.

If you're still unsure about Daryl, you should check out more of our interview with Austin Amelio who broke down the episode's shocking ending with us and revealed Daryl's fate.
