Warning: There are spoilers ahead if you're not caught up with "The Walking Dead" series.
Get excited "The Walking Dead" fans! It looks like the show has finally cast the series' next big villain.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan ("The Good Wife") will play the series' highly-anticipated villain Negan, according to reports from The Hollywood Reporter and The Wrap.
AMC confirmed the reports with Tech Insider.
Negan is the leader of a violent group of survivors called "The Saviors" who head from community to community offering their protection in exchange for food and supplies. For those who refuse, it's not pretty.
If you're not in agreement with Negan, you're more than likely to find yourself at the end of his bat wrapped in barbed wire named Lucille.
The character will be a tough one to adapt for television in order to keep authentic.
Negan is famously known for dropping the f-bomb in nearly every other panel in which he appears.
"Mad Men" actor Jon Hamm was a previous fan pick for the iconic character.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, we'll get to see Negan in next year's sixth season finale, which executive producer Greg Nicotero previously told Tech Insider he'll be directing.
