It's nowhere near as easy to find people to follow on Snapchat as it is on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and practically every other social network.

Snapchat took a step with the last update to its app to make sharing your profile with others a little easier. Each Snapchatter now has a personalized account URL that can be shared anywhere, as first spotted by The Next Web.

To get your Snapchat web link, open the app, drag down from the camera view, and then tap "Add Friends." At the bottom you'll see a new option called "Share Username," which will prompt you to send the link via text, Twitter, Facebook, or other apps you have installed on your phone.

The links only appear to work from a mobile device. When tapped, the prompt you to open the Snapchat app to see the profile that's linked.

This isn't the only way you can share your Snapchat profile outside of the app. There's also your personalized Snapcode, which can be shared once you tap on it from the top right button.
