A poor, unexpecting Porsche rolled off a dealership parking lot ledge and went face-down into a canal in Amsterdam on Wednesday. Lucky for its future owner the GT3RS only suffered minor damage, according to the dealership.

The incident occurred at Porsche Centrum Amsterdam, a Porsche dealer located in — you guessed it — Amsterdam.

Nick van Veldhuijzen, the photographer who provided images to Tech Insider, was on the scene when all of this went down. He and the Porsche dealer were both able to confirm that the car only suffered minor damage and will be still be delivered to its new owner.

There's another image of the Porsche floating around, which offers yet another angle on the unfortunate accident. Jalopnik has it here:

The Porsche dealer also confirmed to Tech Insider that, before the car rolled over the edge, it was getting the orange striping that you see below. Then, a mechanic accidentally drove the car into the water. Whoops!

Any day a $175,000+ supercar like this Porsche GT3RS finds itself in a massive body of water is a bad day. At least with this example, luck was on its side.
