Several new details about the new upcoming Apple TV were leaked on Wednesday by 9to5Mac's Mark Gurman.

According to Gurman, there could be two differently priced models that vary in built-in storage. A model with 8 GB of storage could cost $149, and a 16 GB model could demand up to $199.

There are some claims that Apple may just release the 16 GB model. Either way, the $149 starting price seems pretty set.

The storage is likely for storing apps and games from the Apple TV's alleged new App Store. Rented movies from iTunes are also downloaded and stored temporarily on the current Apple TV, which only has 4 GB of storage.

One of the leaks claim that we'll find a black metal remote to match the Apple TV's supposedly black casing. We're also expecting the new remote to sport a touch pad and even a motion sensor which can potentially be used for playing games from the App Store that's said to feature in the new Apple TV.

The new Apple TV could also run a variation of Apple's latest mobile operating system, iOS 9, on a similar A8 processor that's currently running in the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, according to reports from Gurman and BuzzFeed's John Paczkowski. It's not Apple latest or fastest chip, but it's more than sufficient to run the Apple TV.

A processor upgrade was always on the table for the new Apple TV, and some earlier rumors suggested that the next Apple TV could feature 4K video streaming as a result. However, Gurman claims that it won't output video at 4K resolution. 4K video has twice the resolution as the HD TV you're probably used to watching.

In terms of design, Gurman repeated rumors that the Apple TV would be slightly taller and thicker, and he adds that it'll have the same ports as the current model, including power, HDMI, and micro USB. However, he doesn't mention the other ports that the current Apple TV has, which include optical audio and Ethernet for wired internet, which some prefer over Wi-Fi because it's more stable.
