Kit Harington, the actor who plays Jon Snow on HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” has said time and time again that he will not be back for season six and that his character is dead.

But in a teaser of an interview with Time Out London on Friday (the full interview comes out in April), Harington has amended his statement — kind of.

Look, I’m not in the show anymore. I’m definitely not in the new series,” Harington told the Time Out interviewer. “I filmed some scenes of me being dead — [jokily] it’s some of my best work.”

The new admission comes after “Game of Thrones” mega-fans have spotted Harington in Ireland filming at a location where a huge battle is expected to take place. Not only was he very much alive, but he was seen wearing Stark house colors and armor, and not the black of the Night’s Watch.

If true, this could lead to a huge “Game of Thrones” theory coming true that would be a major plot in season six.

And while there's a minuscule chance that Harington is telling us all the truth, the photos and the teaser trailer for next season are all pointing to Jon Snow’s return. Plus, there's still a major Jon Snow character arch that fans are hoping to see.
