HBO has been teasing "Game of Thrones" fans for months, releasing only the tiniest hints at new footage for the sixth season. Now we finally have a full-length trailer — and boy is it good.

If you haven't watched it yet, do that now. We're going to take a closer look at everything happening in the nearly two minutes of awesomeness.

Warning: Major spoilers ahead for "Game of Thrones."

The trailer opens with a haunting shot of Castle Black. It's dawn — which means Jon's body has been lying on the ground through the night.

Then we get a slow zoom into Jon's bloodied corpse lying in the snow.

We hear Davos say, "He's gone." We weep silently inside.

Next we see a Dornish ship sailing into King's Landing. Jaime is returning with Myrcella's body in tow and Prince Trystane on board.

Cersei tearfully watches as the boat comes nearer. She has no idea her daughter is dead.

Jaime appears, desperately speaking to Cersei: "We're the only ones who matter, and everything they've taken from us we're going to take back ... and more."

The next shot is of Davos, standing over what appears to be a wooden funeral pyre in the snow. He was at Castle Black when Jon was stabbed. Perhaps he's preparing?

Up next is a dark shot of Ramsay and Roose Bolton. Ramsay turns slowly to face his father. Does he know his wife, Sansa, has escaped with Theon?

As we watch a burning corpse on the Bolton's flayed-man cross, Melisandre's somber voice says, "The great victory I saw in the flames ... all of it was a lie."

There's an army behind the burning cross — but this isn't a scene from season five. It must be new footage of a major coming battle.

Cut to Melisandre, looking forlorn as she talks to Davos. But what if she's wrong? We believe the victory she saw in the flames is still to come.

Next, we travel across the narrow sea. Daario and Jorah have tracked Daenerys to the field where we last saw her in season five, and they find her ring.

Jorah looks to the sky. We know he contracted greyscale in season five and therefore has a shortened life span.

Speaking of Daenerys, she's next seen walking alongside the Dothraki.

That is a lot of people. As we suspected, they're heading to Vaes Dothrak — the only structural village the Dothrakis have. Daenerys was there in season one with her former husband Khal Drogo.

Her expression says it all. On her last visit to this place, she was the Khaleesi, pregnant with the great Khal Drogo's child and on top the world. Now she's a prisoner.

The next shot is of the High Sparrow saying, "Every one of us is poor and powerless, yet we can overthrow an empire." He's out to do damage.

Now we cut to the Iron Islands. There's a gathering happening (from the books we know they're selecting a new leader).

We get a quick look at Sansa now. She looks refreshed and wearing new furs, so it's safe to assume her leap from Winterfell's walls led her to safety.

Time for Tyrion! Here he is holding a torch in what looks like the room Daenerys kept her other two dragons. His voiceover says, "You're in the great game now, and the great game is terrifying."

After Tyrion, there's a flash of Drogon flying in the sky. Will he help Daenerys out of her pickle with the Dothraki?

The trailer fades to black before opening on Lancel and the Faith Militant soldiers. It looks as if they're in a courtyard. "Order your man to step aside, or there will be violence," Lancel says.

Then it cuts to the mysterious member of the Kingsguard introduced at the end of season five. Though he's nameless, we're positive this is a zombie version of the Mountain.

Turns out Lancel was talking to Cersei. "I choose violence," she says. Remember, the Faith Militant is charging Cersei with treason and humiliated her last season.

Now we cut to a group of men preparing for a fight. We believe this is part of a flashback scene known as The Tower of Joy — a battle fought between Ned Stark and the Targaryen Kingsguard nearly 20 years before the events in "Game of Thrones."

Another set of men looking angry — but on the left is Alliser Thorne, the man who organized the assassination of Jon Snow. They're trying to break into a room.

Here we have King Tommen in the throne room, looking peeved as he walks with his Kingsguard behind him. Hopefully he's figuring out how to rescue Margaery.

Next, it looks as if Cersei is walking toward him, with a Kingsguard of her own. They're about to throw down in a major way.

Then a snippet of horses galloping into battle. This is probably the major northern battle scene we've been hearing rumors about between the Boltons and rebelling lords.

Ships on a stormy sea. The Iron Islands will play a big part in season six, so we can expect lots of ships to come.

Arya takes a hard hit from her fellow House of Black and White servant. Was being blinded not punishment enough for disobeying the rules of the Many Faced God?

Then a flash of Littlefinger in the snow. Hopefully, he has made his way back north to help Sansa find safety.

Finally, we get a look at Margaery locked in a cell under Baelor's Sept. There's a chance she may have to perform a "walk of shame" similar to Cersei.

We see a shot of someone attacking a man with a fireball-looking weapon. Those look like the woods where Brienne found and killed Stannis. Maybe she's finishing off his followers?

More epic battle shots — this time we see archers.

Then an explosion in Daenerys' royal chambers in the pyramid of Meereen. The city could be under attack from trebuchets, or maybe the Sons of the Harpy gang got its hands on some explosives.

We get a shot of Theon, who looks as if he's in trouble from the pack of dogs. We really hope those aren't Bolton dogs.

And back to the Iron Islands. This is a new character — Euron Greyjoy — being "baptized" for the Drowned God by his brother Damphair. Euron is Theon's uncle.

Things look spicy between Cersei and Jaime here. Did she really forgive him for letting Myrcella die on his watch? Or maybe she doesn't know yet ...

There's Brienne again, killing another man in the snow. She must really have it out for Stannis' men. Or maybe she found Sansa and is protecting her?

Then a hand grips a brazier. We don't recognize this ring, but it might be Melisandre. She loves fire, remember?

Now, we're back to Melisandre, removing her dress while she concentrates on something. Jon?

We see Jon's body on a table, with a person standing over him. You can see the puncture wounds where he was stabbed. We firmly believe Melisandre is about to work some serious magic on his corpse.

Cut to Arya flinging herself off the wall of a building and into a crowd. Who is she running from? Her fellow servant girl is a likely suspect.

More battle! We can clearly make out the Bolton sigil on these shields.

We then see two women making out. Is this why the trailer was deemed "red band"? Knowing "Game of Thrones" these are probably two prostitutes, but some people think the woman on the right may be Theon's sister Yara Greyjoy.

And here is Euron Greyjoy again, looking sinister on a bridge.

Spoilers: Based on the books, we know Euron likely kills Balon Greyjoy, Theon's father. This is the moment!

Here we cut back to that fight between who appears to be a younger Ned Stark and the Targaryen loyalists. The man on the left is wearing Stark armor, while the man in the middle has a Targaryen symbol on his armor.

game of thrones season 6 FLASHBACK -- TOWER OF JOY
At no point in "Game of Thrones" so far has a Stark soldier come up against a man from House Targaryen, so we're thinking this must be a flashback. HBO

This looks like former slaves in Meereen attacking someone. Perhaps one of the Sons of the Harpy?

And Arya again. Notice her eyes? She's warging! Just like her brother Bran. In the books, she wargs into a cat without fully realizing what she's done.

And now: Bran. He looks as if he's aged 10 years since we saw him last in season four. We know he's in the middle of a vision, because he's standing up.

What is he so scared of, you ask? The Night King! Oh man, this season will be so incredible.

Before the trailer ends we get one huge look at Jon and Davos. "I've never been much of a fighter," Davos says as he grabs Jon's sword Longclaw. "Apologies for what you're about to see."

He's standing by Jon's body. It sounds as if he's going to attack someone. It's not sounding too good for the men in the room with him.

Davos is about to go against the men of the Night's Watch, presumably over Jon's body. Ghost is there! Our guess is Davos will steal Jon's body and take it to Melisandre so she can help bring him back to life.
