The eighth installment of "Game of Thrones" season six was among the bloodiest episode we've had yet. But amidst all the death and action sequences, fans were left fixated on one brutal letdown.

Cleganebowl appears to be canceled (for now, anyways). For those woefully unaware of Cleganebowl, read our full explainer here. But the short of it was that the Hound and the Mountain were theorized to meet in a deadly trial by combat. However, when Tommen declared that trial by combat was no longer an option, fans were crushed. This means no Cleganebowl — at least not in season six.

Here's just a taste of how people felt after hearing Tommen kill the hype. Warning: NSFW language ahead.

Despite the apparent cancellation of Cleganebowl, some believers are not giving up.

"F--- THE NON BELIEVERS, ITS STILL GONNA HAPPEN, GET F---ING HYPE!!!!" Redditor IgnoranceUK wrote on the official /r/CleganeBowl subreddit.

"ONLY DELAYED NEVER CANCELLED," another Redditor, York72, wrote. Tommen has officially been named the "Hypeslayer" among the fandom. The general response on the /r/asoiaf subreddit has been a lot of "RIP Cleganebowl" comments.

Actually, the entire /r/CleganeBowl subbreddit is amazing right now. Take a look:

For those who are holding out hype, we may have to wait until season seven to see the brothers Clegane fight to the death.
