More over succulents, there's a new trendy houseplant in town — the Air Bonsai.

Unlike ordinary potted plants, the Air Bonsai uses hidden magnets that actually suspend your plant in mid-air. Air Bonsai's creator launched a Kickstarter campaign on January 21 and in just four days it has already raised over $200,000, well over the initial goal of $80,000.

Here's a look.
Each Air Bonsai is made of two separate pieces: the "little star," or plant portion, and the "energy base," the Kickstarter explains. Both pieces have a built-in magnet with an opposite charge to create the floating effect and the energy base also has a rotating mechanism to make the plant spin.
Getting your hands on this floating greenery doesn't come cheap. The entry level model is priced at $200 and if you live outside of Japan, be prepared for added shipping fees. The current estimated delivery date is April 2016.

Still, the cool floating effect seems to be worth it. Just ask the 925 people — and counting — who have already backed the campaign.
