A new dangerous trend called the 'duct tape challenge' is sweeping the internet

The game has been around for some time now, but is starting to trend on Facebook and other social platforms. If you search YouTube, you'll find plenty of videos of people covering their bodies in tape and attempting to pull a Harry Houdini.

Here's a look at someone participating in the duct tape challenge. Please do not try this at home.

Unfortunately for Fish, he wasn't sitting in a chair. As his friends were wrapping him in tape, he fell and hit his head.  "When he fell, he hit the corner of the window frame. It crushed his whole eye socket," his mother, Sarah Fish told Kiro TVWhen his eye socket was crushed, it pinched off nerves in his eye."

Fish also suffered a brain aneurysm, needed 48 staples, and his mother says they aren't sure if he'll ever regain use of his left eye. The photos of his injury are graphic, so click at your own risk.

Now Fish and his mother are warning other people against the dangerous game.

This isn't the first time a potentially dangerous challenge has gone viral. In November, many people participated in the "condom challenge" — which involved dropped a condom full of water on someone's head — and don't forget the ever-popular Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge.

Or do.
