The Hollywood Foreign Press Association just announced the 2016 nominations for the Golden Globes, the annual awards for outstanding film and TV.

The thing is, you don't actually need a cable subscription to watch any of the shows that were nominated for Best TV comedy.

As BuzzFeed's Doree Shafrir pointed out on Twitter, all of the shows that were nominated in the Best TV Comedy category are available on streaming services, like Hulu, HBO Now, Amazon Prime, or Netflix.

This year's nominations in the category are a stark contrast to the nominations just two years ago, which included shows on Fox, CBS, ABC, HBO, and NBC, and none from streaming services. It shows that a lot of the best shows are being created exclusively for streaming services, not traditional TV networks. And it's a hint that traditional networks are losing their grip on the future of television programming.
