FX has ordered a pilot from the actor, who has created a show that he would also star in.

It's the first series that the channel is considering as part of its production deal with Louis C.K., according to Vulture.

C.K. will also cowrite the pilot with Galifianakis and will serve as one of the program's executive producers.

The network has yet to share what the series will be about, but as the two comedians have proven in their other projects, anything is possible.

C.K.'s Pig Newton production company signed a deal with FX in December to create new programs for FX and its various related networks. The agreement does not include C.K.'s hit series Louie, the new season of which will premiere in May.

Instead, as Vulture reports, it will allow C.K. to recruit new writing and production talents for the networks. FX Networks President John Landgraf reportedly said he was looking forward to seeing "who he brings in the door."

Outside of his FX deal, C.K. will offer up his 1998 directorial debutTomorrow Night, on his website starting next month.

The movie gathered together a star crop of comedians, many before they became famous, including Steve Carell, Amy Poehler, Conan O'Brien, Wanda Sykes and JB Smoove. The comedian premiered the movie at Sundance 15 years ago, but it failed to attract a distributor.
