Majestic shots of the countryside set to a soft, lilting soundtrack could make any place look like paradise, but there's still something special about Sweden.

Maybe it's the generous (and mandatory) 16-month-long paid parental leave. Maybe it's the high level of technological innovation, or the widespread use of renewable energy.

Maybe it's just the big sweaters.

In just 1 minute and 46 seconds, a new short film from the Swedish Institute entitled "This Is Sweden" showcases the Scandinavian country's many virtues.

"This is Summer," one title card says on top of a woman caught in a downpour. "This is Making Things," reads another, before shots of graphic design and robotics flash across the screen.

The real story in Sweden isn't entirely rosy, however. Gripped with a serious refugee crisis and influx of migrants from nearby Denmark, the small country has had to ramp up its border security.

These tensions have led to more violence in the otherwise peaceful country, which, as the short film depicts, serves its citizens in so many ways.

Also, Ikea.
