"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" won't hit theaters until November 2016, but we finally know what the plot will be about.

Earlier this week, Entertainment Weekly released a first look at Newt Scamander, the leading man of "Fantastic Beasts" played by Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne.

Turns out, the briefcase in Scamander's hand is going to be central to the film, EW also reports

Warning. If you don't want to know what "Fantastic Beasts" is about, stop reading right now!

The film is set in New York City during the roaring twenties. Scamander is a magizoologist who studies magical creatures.

Scamander comes to New York City, for reasons still unkown, with magical briefcase in hand. Much like Mary Poppins' carpet bag or Hermione's purse in the final Harry Potter book, the case is enchanted. It can hold a lot more than its small size suggests.

This briefcase is where Scamander keeps all his magical creatures. According to the Harry Potter wiki, he's travelled to 100 different countries, so there could be anything from hinkypunks to gryndylows inside.

In New York, Scamander finds that American wizards live in constant fear of the no-maj (the American word for Muggle) community. Turns out, American wizards really don't want to be discovered. We'd suggest avoiding any joy-rides in flying Ford Anglias, just to be safe.

Things, of course, go awry when some of Scamander's creatures inevitably escape from his magical briefcase.

In addition to Redmayne, the film will also star Katherine Waterston as Porpentina “Tina” Goldstein, Eddie Alison Sudol and Queenie Goldstein, and Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski, EW reports

Now, if only we could speed up time and make "Fantastic Beasts" release quicker. Unfortunately, we're all a bunch of no-maj, so we'll just have to wait.
