'The Walking Dead' social accounts may have spoiled a huge character reveal for next season

While celebrating National Pet Day, "The Walking Dead" Instagram account may have revealed a little too much about season seven of the show.

First spotted on Reddit, the comic series' official Instagram account shared an image of two popular characters from the comic, Ezekiel and his pet tiger Shiva. The two come into play later in the series. Ezekiel is the leader of a community known as the Kingdom.

While the show has been hinting we'll see the appearance of the two soon, there hasn't been any official confirmation that either will appear on the TV show. But a post on "The Walking Dead" social accounts Monday made it sound like fans are in for a big surprise.

Take a look at that caption.

It reads: "Happy #nationalpetday! Don't worry, #WalkingDead show fans. You'll get to meet Ezekiel and Shiva next season"

What? Are we going to see a tiger on "The Walking Dead" next season?

Not so fast.

Tuesday, a spokesperson from Skybound, which produces “The Walking Dead” comic and other creator-owned content, has confirmed the post was shared across social media but was edited shortly afterward.

While the Kingdom has been teased at the end of the season six show, we were told Skybound has “no concrete knowledge of season 7 yet.” TI was told the person who shared the post "has no more knowledge of what's going to happen next season than any other fan."
