Are you the "Star Wars" fan the Alamo Drafthouse movie theater is looking for?

Starting on December 17 at 4:00 a.m., the Austin, Texas theater will be hosting the ultimate "Star Wars" fan competition. Seven competitors will participate in what Drafthouse is calling a "never-ending 'Star Wars' movie marathon."

The winner will receive a seven-year pass to Alamo Drafthouse theaters, a theater seat named after them, as well as a number of other prizes. With the price of movie tickets these days, we'd say it's worth it just for the seven-year pass alone!

Here's what the competition entails.

To start, participants will watch the first six films in sequential order. Then — and here's where the real fun begins — those seven lucky folks will watch "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" on repeat until only one fan remains.

"What better way to anoint the ultimate super fan than inviting them to watch these remarkable films on the big screen until they drop? Literally," explained Alamo Drafthouse founder and CEO Tim League.

Tech Insider reached out to League to find out what inspired the competition and what the Alamo Drafthouse will do if a clear winner cannot be determined. We will update this post when we hear back.

Until then, if you're in the Austin area and want to be one of the chosen seven, here's what you need to do: Use the hashtag #AlamoJedi on your social media platform of choice and show of your love of all things Lucasfilm to secure your entry in the competition.

According to the Alamo Drafthouse, participants will receive breaks inbetween each movie to "stretch their legs and channel their inner Force." Among the things that aren't allowed? "Sleeping, illegal drugs and talking & texting during the movies will result in disqualification and a swift trip to the Sarlacc Pit."
