If you’re in a longterm relationship, chances are you have been, at one time or another, tempted to be unfaithful — specifically when it comes to binge-watching Netflix.

There are times when you know your partner is on episode five of a series, and you probably shouldn’t watch episode six, or seven, or eight, but you just do anyway. Once you are mid-binge, it can be hard to simply stop.

But Cornetto, the British ice cream company, has come up with a way to keep your relationship in harmony. The company has created “Commitment Rings,” which use NFC technology to make sure you are only watching a show when your partner is there.

Here’s how they work.

First, you can sign up to get a pair of rings from Cornetto (first-come first-serve). Once they arrive, you link the rings to a video streaming service for six months. The exact services are still being worked out, according to Fast Company, but let’s imagine Netflix and Hulu will be the big ones. Then you use an app Cornetto has created for the rings to choose which shows you and your partner want to watch together. These shows will then only play when the rings are physically close together.
