Pictures allegedly showing the iPhone 7 just leaked from Chinese sources via AppleInsider.

One of the pictures (right) shows the back of what looks like the supposed iPhone 7 Plus with a dual camera and redesigned antenna bands.

The leaked images shows that the camera still sticks out quite a bit, which is contrary to most rumors that have said the camera will lie flat against the iPhone 7's back.

There's also three circles towards the bottom of the phone, which look similar to the Smart Connector port that first appeared in the iPad Pro. The Smart Connector let the iPad Pro magnetically connect to a keyboard, but the purpose of a Smart Connector on an iPhone isn't as clear. It would be somewhat odd for an iPhone to have a Smart Connector.

Two other pictures in AppleInsider's report show the bottom of the alleged iPhone 7. Indeed, it looks like the headphone jack is missing, and has been replaced with an extra speaker.

Another picture of the device's front reveals a missing home button. The caption of the leaked images says the Touch ID fingerprint sensor would be built into the display.

We're skeptical that Apple would ditch the home button on the upcoming iPhone 7, which in turn makes us skeptical of these images leaks in general. Additionally, it looks like the device in the leaked images looks nearly identical to the iPhone 6 series in overall design; it would be strange if Apple kept such a similar design for its new model from its older models. The Smart Connector on the bottom also raises alarms as to the legitimacy of these photos.

As ever, stay skeptical with these leaks, internet.
