This futuristic looking tower is covered with a replica of the owner's fingerprint

The exterior design of this future building may look like a random mix of swirling lines, but it actually is an exact replica of the owner's fingerprint.

Architect Moon Hoon is designing the residential tower, called the YDP Tower, that will break ground in Seoul, South Korea in Fall of this year or Spring of the next, Hoon wrote in an email to Tech Insider. The penthouse is where the client, a man named Lee Seong Soo, will reside, while the bottom four floors will house studios for rent.

"The client wished for a unique tower with some curves. We provided various schemes and the one with the client's fingerprint as a facade and structure won his heart," Hoon wrote in the email.

All of the rooms will have ceilings and bare interiors so residents can design their studios as they see fit. The building will also have a rooftop garden.

The 13-story building's fingerprint wrapping will serve as a screen for the apartments' windows.
