A company in Raleigh, North Carolina has found a clever way to lure new talent.

Practichem, a lab equipment supplier, is currently offering all of its new employees a Tesla Model 3.

Anyone who joins Practichem will get a Model 3 lease that is paid and managed by the company, Practichem announced Thursday. That deal applies for any full-time employee that currently works there, as well, Ann Revell-Pechar, a spokesperson for the company, told Tech Insider in an email.

There are currently 15 people working at Practichem. But employees only get to lease the Model 3 as long as they are part of the company. If they choose to leave, the car will remain at Practichem.

"The response has been wild," Revell-Pechar said. "We have indeed seen a huge uptick in number of applicants."

Revell-Pechar said she didn't know the exact number of people who have applied since their Model 3 recruitment strategy went live. She also said she was unaware of how many Model 3s have been reserved by the company.

Around 400,000 people have reserved the Model 3, JB Straubel, Tesla's chief technology officer, said during the International Transport Forum in Germany this week.

But considering Tesla won't begin delivering Model 3s until 2018, any new employees at Practichem will have to stick around for awhile to get their car.
