There are few gadgets as satisfying as the Polaroid camera. You set up your shot, snap, and revel in the instant gratification as the photo prints immediately.

However, it can be frustrating when you see your picture at full-size for the first time and realize the shot was out of focus or that not everyone's smiling faces made it into the selfie. The viewfinder's itty-bitty size makes it difficult to preview the image before shuttering.

The iconic camera brand revealed its newest toy, the Polaroid Snap+ Instant Digital Camera, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week — and it's clear the company has solved fans' biggest complaint.

The new Bluetooth-enabled device features a 3.5-inch LCD touch screen that allows the user to frame the shot and navigate the camera's menu. While the update might upset Polaroid traditionalists, it's welcomed by those who want the speed of an instant camera with the convenience of modern tech.

The Polaroid Snap+ introduces a slew of other new features, including an improved 13-megapixel CMOS sensor for sharper images, as well as 1080p HD video recording. The camera also comes equipped with a "selfie mirror," so you can assure your face makes it into the frame.

A free iOS and Android app connects to the camera via Bluetooth, so users can edit prints and add filters, stickers, emojis, and borders. Plus, the backing on each two-by-three-inch print peels off, turning the photo into a sticker.

The Polaroid Snap+ hits the market in late 2016. The price is to be announced, though an earlier model retails at $100.

It's sure to delight fans and amateur photographers alike.
