Brad Pitt earned the title twice in five years.

Brad Pitt was named People's Sexiest Man Alive for the first time in 1995, following his starring roles in "Legends of the Fall" and "Interview with the Vampire."

In 2000, shortly after he stole the show in "Fight Club" with his six-pack abs, Pitt became the first man to earn the title twice.

Richard Gere graced the cover in 1993 and 1999.

Richard Gere shared his first cover with his then-wife, supermodel Cindy Crawford, when People swapped the Sexiest Man Alive title for Sexiest Couple Alive.

Six years later, at 50 years old, the "Pretty Woman" star earned his own cover.

George Clooney was honored by People in 1997 and 2006.

George Clooney graced his first Sexiest Man Alive cover while portraying Dr. Doug Ross on the NBC medical drama "ER."

He reclaimed the title in 2006, the same year he won best supporting actor at the Oscars for his movie "Syriana."

Johnny Depp is the most recent person to be named Sexiest Man Alive twice.
