While most Snapchat filters are pretty innocuous (think rainbow vomit and wrinkles), users in Nevada might notice something a little more political on the app today — an NRA sponsored anti gun-control filter.
Here's what the filter looks like. It's only available in Nevada today from 2 p.m. til 8 p.m., the NRA explained in a press release.
"Don't NYC my Nevada gun rights" is a reference to a proposed gun-control ballot initiative which will be voted on in Nevada next November. The filter is a call against former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg, who is a major advocate for gun control, including a recent push to change background check laws in Nevada.
The Nevada-only filter is being released in tandem with tonight's Republican presidential debates, which are being held in Las Vegas.
