New discovery improves prospect for alien life on Mars

A team of scientists recently reported that Mars had large lakes of liquid water much longer than previously thought. This new discovery means that microbial life had more time to form and survive — which also improves the prospect for finding signs of this possible ancient life on future Mars missions.
