If you've ever sat down to watch a TV show on Netflix, you'll know how quickly one episode can become six.

You could — theoretically — binge for days without ever moving, if it weren't for a built-in feature that pauses your show or movie after a few hours to ask if you are still watching.

It looks like this.

Speaking from personal experience, if you're several hours into a "House of Cards" binge, the notification can even feel a little like you're being shamed into closing your computer.

But the absolute worst part of the notification is that you have to manually click "Continue watching" if you want to keep playing your show. Oh the humanity!

Luckily, there is now a Chrome extension, called Flix Assist, that will automatically do the clicking for you, The Next Web reports. The extension also removes the 30-second wait between clicking and starting a new episode. Isn't technology great?

Click here to download Flix Assist and continue streaming in peace.
