Kids love New Year's Eve. But parents don't always love it when their little ones insist on staying up until the clock strikes midnight.
But thanks once again to Netflix, your kids don't have to wait until midnight to countdown to 2016.
The streaming service has released six new original "countdown specials" featuring characters from children's shows on Netflix.
Kids can choose to watch specials from "Puffin Rock," "Care Bears & Cousins," "Inspector Gadget," "Project Mc2," "King Julien" and "Mr. Peabody & Sherman."
The idea is that parents can cue up a special in the hours before midnight, and their kids can watch the characters from their favorite show countdown to the new year, over and over again, at anytime throughout the evening. Then, parents can put their kids to bed and celebrate on their own.
To get to the specials, just search for "new year's eve" on Netflix.
Just remember to switch all the clocks in the house before you put the kids to bed.
