Robot assistants are becoming increasingly more common in hotels.

Whether it's robots that will store your luggage or check you in to your room, tiny bots can be found in hotels from Japan to California. And now there's a new one working at Hilton's hotel in McLean Virginia: Connie.

Connie runs on IBM's AI Watson and can greet guests and provide recommendations on restaurants or tourist attractions to visit, according to a press release. Connie can also answer questions about hotel amenities and services.

Currently, Connie is running as a pilot program in the Hilton McLean location, but we could see more of Connie in the future if all goes well.

Other hotels that offer robot concierges include Japan's aptly named Weird Hotel and New York hotel Yobot. Check out our breakdown of the most high-tech hotels for a deeper dive.
