John Oliver dedicated his entire show this week to decimating Donald Trump

John Oliver is coming to the same realization the Republican party came to last week — he can no longer ignore Donald Trump.

Previously, John Oliver has tried to avoid the subject of the real estate mogul-turned-presidential candidate. But now that it's looking more and more likely that Trump will capture the Republican nomination for president, reality has sunk in for the "Last Week Tonight" host.

In fact, Oliver borrowed a page from Trump for Sunday's episode, and doubled-down with about 21 minutes of coverage on the candidate.

"Our main story tonight, and I can't believe I'm saying this, is Donald Trump," Oliver started Sunday's episode. "I say that knowing that every time his name is said out loud, he has a shattering orgasm."

He went on to explain that while they've mostly ignored Trump on the show, the candidate has won three states, been endorsed by New Jersey governor Chris Christie, and polls show him leading every Super Tuesday state. And, as Oliver pointed out, every candidate since 1988 that has won the most states on Super Tuesday – a day in which several states hold their primaries — emerged as their party's presidential nomination.

"At this point, Donald Trump is America's back mole. It may have seemed harmless a year ago, but now that it has gotten frighteningly bigger it is no longer wise to ignore it," the host summarized.

Oliver and Trump have had a history of public feuding, specifically after Oliver said he would never interview Trump on his HBO show. But over and above starting to pay attention to Trump, Oliver said he has another annoying realization.

"There is a part of me that even likes this guy. It's a part of me I hate, but it is a part of me," Oliver admitted, after showing clips of Trump making fun of opponent Marco Rubio and tweeting a happy 9-11 to all, even the "haters and losers."

But don't judge Oliver for his emotional weakness, he then makes a quick U-turn to show how a closer look at Trump dispels all the likeable attributes he and American voters perceive of the candidate. He attacked Trump's honesty, the validity of his business prowess, and pointed out his racist following. Now, that's the John Oliver we love.

Then, later on the episode, Oliver announced that he launched a website called DonaldJDrumpf.com. Its purpose is to take the power that has accumulated around the Trump name and replace it.

"The name 'Trump' was not always his family's name," Oliver explained. "One biographer had found that a prescient ancestor had changed it from, and this is true, 'Drumpf.' Yes, f---ing Drumpf. And Drumpf is much less magical."

The site also includes a Chrome plug-in called the "Drumpfinator," which will replace all instances of Trump with Drumpf.
