German publication Captain Gadget was given access to the secretive factory and filmed Model X production from start to finish.

And robots bring materials and tools to the assembly line. These robots aren't autonomous, but follow magnetic stripes on the floor.

Giant robot arms move and process the metal parts.

There are 580 red robot arms working in the factory located in Fremont, California.

The robots weld, rivet, and glue parts of the Model X together.

Now for the important part: batteries! Automated robots bring the heavy battery to the car's body, which has already been painted.

Robots push the battery onto the car floor.

After the battery is attached to the car, robots Thunderbird and Cyclops get ready to do their part. The robots are named after Marvel's X-Men characters.

Employees then put in the seats, dashboard, and remaining interior trim.
