6 innovative features in the new Beetle Dune

Volkswagen unveiled its Beetle Dune, a car that draws inspiration from the original Volkswagen classic, at the Chicago Auto Show that runs until February 21.

Although aesthetically the Dune looks a lot like its traditional Beetle predecessor, it comes with some new high-tech perks.

The car comes with a review camera so you can see behind you while driving.

And it comes with Park Pilot so it can pull into parking spots entirely on its own.

The car's airbag sensors can detect a potential collision and will direct the car to apply the brakes to limit its effects.

The Dune comes with a 6.3-inch screen that will display things like directions to your desired location and entertainment options. It can be controlled using hand gestures.

You can start the Beetle Dune with the push of a button, and other features include a tilt-and-slide sunroof and dual zone climate control.
