"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" finally opened in theaters this week, but if you're craving even more of the galaxy far, far away, you could always try building your own lightsaber.
In his latest video, Allen Pan, the YouTube behind "Sufficiently Advanced," built his own working version of the iconic "Star Wars" weapon. Complete with a fiery blue blade and sound effects, it looks just like the real-deal from the movies.
Here's a close up look at the device, which uses butane and methanol to create an awesome fiery effect.
While it might not lop off your hand in a single slice, we'd bet a run-in with this homemade lightsaber wouldn't tickle. Take a look at how easily the lightsaber destroys these stormtrooper balloons.
And Jar Jar Binks. Though many "Star Wars" fans might say he had it coming.
