Ask any teen around and they'll tell you the hoverboard is a seriously hot-ticket item. Vine star Cody Johns is capitalizing on this with his new business, NeoBoard

In case you're not familiar with them, hoverboards are less Marty McFly and more hands-free scooter. And they've popped up everywhere from this Missy Elliot music video to this viral dance routine. Wiz Khalifa even got arrested for riding one in an airport

Here's a look at Johns' line of hoverboards. You'll notice they appear pretty similar to most other models currently on the market.

Starting at $650, Johns says the pricing on his boards is "reasonable," BuzzFeed reports. While that's certainly cheaper than a $1,000 Phunkeeduck — the hoverboard brand of choice for many celebs — $650 isn't exactly a price tag that is going to have parents jumping for joy this Christmas.

We reached out to Johns to get some more info about the price point and to learn a little more about NeoBoard, but a representative told Tech Insider Johns isn't doing any more press at the moment.

The 24-year-old Vine star seems excited about tossing hit hat into the hoverboard ring, given he's a big fan of the devices himself.

“When I first rode one, I really fell in love with it,” Johns told BuzzFeed. “I realized that this type of product would be a great business to get [involved with] — you can actually make decent money per unit.”

Whether NeoBoard actually goes on to make "decent money" or not, we're just hoping the boards don't end up exploding, literally, like these recent reports from Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, and the UK
