Warning: There are major spoilers ahead for "Game of Thrones" season six.

The second episode of season six, "Home," presented fans with gruesome deaths, surprise twists, and long-awaited confirmation of major fan theories.

Ramsay Bolton carried out a vicious triple-murder when he killed his father Roose, stepmother Walda, and their newborn baby boy. The patricide done via brutal stabbing before Ramsay released his bloodthirsty dogs on Walda and the baby boy. Yeesh.

People on Twitter were just about as disturbed by this scene as you might expect. Not to mention, this is a total Bolton game-changer.

Then, there was the real thrilling moment, one many fans have waited years for: Jon Snow's resurrection. The episode closed with Jon waking up, hyperventilating on the table where his cold, lifeless body was kept.

People were also surprised by the reappearance and then sudden death of Balon Greyjoy, Theon's father. A new character (Euron Greyjoy — Balon's brother) was introduced with a bang as he murdered Balon. The plethora of family-on-family killing in an episode called "Home" is twisted, to say the least.

For many, given that Jon Snow's resurrection has been a circulating theory for the last five years, "Home" is one of the best episodes fans have seen in awhile.

For a majority of the seasons, "Game of Thrones" has saved the biggest action for episodes eight through 10. The exception to the rule was Joffrey's murder in season four, episode two: "The Lion and the Rose." Season four went on to hold some fantastic moments, including Tyrion's trial, Oberyn's fight against the Mountain, Tywin and Shae's deaths, and the epic battle at the Wall between the Night's Watch and the wildlings.

Season six is just getting started, and if these first two episodes are any indication we have an amazing season ahead.
