The router of the future has a touchscreen, can troubleshoot its own connectivity issues, gives you direct access to customer support, and looks great sitting on your mantle.

It can also wirelessly provide internet that's faster and cheaper than broadband.

That's the vision of Starry, a new startup announced by the creators of Aereo on Wednesday. Starry will start selling the Starry Station router on February 5 for $350 to go with its brand new, one-of-a-kind internet service.

$350 is a lot to spend on a router, but once you take a look at everything the Starry Station can do, the price tag starts to make sense.
