While there have been plenty of images published showing the outside of Tesla's new battery factory, there have only been a few images published of the inside of the building, especially of the manufacturing area.

In March, images leaked of the inside of the Gigafactory. We ran a story showing the images, but were asked to take them down by Tesla.

Now, you can see very similar shots in Vice's latest episode "The Future of Energy," which aired on Friday evening.

Check out the shots of the high-tech factory below.

Mobile robots called “automated guided vehicles” (AGVs) roam around the Gigafactory.

The robots navigate on their own by following magnetic tape on the ground. They are also equipped with sensors and a laser system to help guide them.

AGVs are commonly used in manufacturing settings for moving items from one point to another.

In the Vice clip, it appears that the robots are moving around the batteries used in Tesla's Powerwalls and Powerpacks.

Powerwall and Powerpacks are the battery packs Tesla sells to homeowners and businesses, respectively.

The video didn't show too much of the inside, but it did give us our first official glimpse of the manufacturing floor. We look forward to seeing more of the Gigafactory in the future.
