The ecocapsule is both solar-powered and wind-powered. It fits up to two people and comes with enough amenities to live comfortably from just about anywhere.

Here's a closer look at the ecocapsule:

The ecocapsule enables off-the-grid living because it doesn't need to be plugged into a traditional power source. The roof is equipped with high-efficiency solar cells that can capture 600 Watts of energy.

It also comes with a wind turbine that can deliver up to 750 Watts of energy during day or night.

But in case both those energy options fail, the ecocapsule comes with a battery. When fully charged, the battery will provide energy for at least four days.

The ecocapsule's unique shape is intended to minimize heat loss and capture rain water. The water is collected on the surface where it's stored and filtered in a water tank.

The ecocapsule comes with data network connection in case you want to stay in touch with friends not living off the grid. There's also a desk, bed, and cabinets for storage. It can be moved by extending its four wheels.

Since this is the first generation ecocapsule, only 50 are available for order. They cost about $87,000, which can cost up to $3,890 depending on where you live.
