Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is known for his amazing physique and dedicated training schedule, and it seems he may be rubbing off on his “Baywatch” costar (and former Disney star) Zac Efron.

Efron recently told Entertainment Tonight that Johnson’s social media “motivates” him to hit the gym.

"This guy motivates you to work out,” Efron told the ET reporter in Miami, Florida, where "Baywatch" is currently filming. “I started following him on Instagram. He's an animal!"

Both Efron and Johnson have been positing pictures of themselves working out on the set of their movie together.

They both shared one memorable scene where their characters are competing in a tire flipping race on their separate Instagrams:

“[Just] wait until you see the insane shape my boy Efron got in for our movie,” Johnson wrote on Instagram. “Proud of the hard work he put in. That's the way you make a character ‘iconic.’”

Meanwhile, Efron has been giving a preview of his impressive fitness routine on Instagram, which appears to involve a whole lot of weight lifting.

And while Efron has always been in shape, his new routine has helped him go from this:

Efron is not the only person Johnson has inspired to get fit. Last month, New York City dad Mark Webster spent the entire month eating and working out just like “The Rock.”

It involved early days at the gym and a whole lot of cod. So much cod in fact, that Johnson himself told Tech Insider he had to cut the fish out of his diet because he hated it so much.
