Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority and the Dubai Future Foundation are working to have 25% of all car trips be driverless by 2030. In the video, the Dubai Future Foundation showed what a driverless car trip will look like by having people take rides in a modified Tesla Model S.
The modified Tesla used augmented reality to project a map of Dubai on the window, allowing passengers to physically point to where they want to go.
The passengers were also able to talk to the car and request a drop-off location.
