Thursday, Netflix announced season two of its hit series "Daredevil" will drop on March 18. Alongside a teaser trailer, the company released an epic poster, showing the Devil of Hell's Kitchen standing in the center of a battle between good and evil.

Upon first look, it may just look like a pretty ordinary poster with characters and a nod toward the series' new antihero. But there's a lot more to be seen. We broke down Easter eggs in the poster, from Punisher to Elektra and maybe even a hint at another Defender from Netflix's Marvel universe.

1. Looking at the poster as a whole, one thing is clear: The Punisher is here.

Let's start with the obvious. The clouds form a haunting skull image, the symbol for The Punisher, who will be played by Jon Bernthal ("The Walking Dead"). The poster implies the conflict between Daredevil and The Punisher will frame much of season two.

2. The burning "DD" symbol references both Matt's "Daredevil" persona and Hell's Kitchen, a city on fire.

3. The characters on the left side of the poster emphasize good guys, while the right side highlights many of the villains.

Matt's father, "Battlin' Jack Murdock" is at the top. Father Lantom is Matt's spiritual guide for most of the season. He's seen here holding a bible directly parallel to the gun in Turk Barrett, one of Kingpin's men, on the right. The gun/bible emphasizes the Heaven/Hell imagery seen in the poster.

Elena Cardenas is pictured below Ben Urich on the left side of the poster. Neither character survived season one, but their deaths became were huge moments for Karen and Foggy especially as they fought against Wilson Fisk/Kingpin.

4. Take a closer look at the firefighter.

The "52" on the Fireman's helmet references 52nd street, a block in the center of Hell's Kitchen New York. The fact that he's a fireman is important because of the recurring "hell,""devil," and "fire" imagery.

5. References to Heaven and Hell

Notice that the people on the left hand side reach and climb upward, as a contrast to the characters on the right side of the poster falling downward. Another reference to Heaven and Hell? Those on the right side of the poster appear to be falling into a red light, seemingly being sent to Hell.

6. Josie's Bar

Josie's Bar is a location in the comic books. It's also the bar where Matt, Foggy, and Karen often go to hang out and air out their issues. The bartender Josie even made an appearance in season one.

7. Matt Murdock's mom?

We haven't met Matt's mom, but we know she's alive. In the comics, Maggie Murdock left her husband and son behind to become a nun. Is the nun pictured here Matt's mom?

8. There's a big hint at Elektra.

The sai weapons belong to Elektra (Elodie Yung), Matt's rival and love interest, debuting in season two.

9. Another possible hint at Frank Castle/The Punisher

This powerful firearm and black glove may be another hint at The Punisher who will also debut in season two. Sure, we don't see a face, but the fact that it's the only disembodied hand in the image that doesn't really connect with anything seems a bit strange. It may very well be a nod towards a new threat to come.  It seems to strange to just be hanging out there.

10. Is this Jessica Jones?

We see a character, presumably female, with long jet black hair and jeans who looks awfully similar to Netflix's newest Marvel superheroine, Jessica Jones. Will Jessica make a cameo this season as we get closer to Netflix's big Defenders crossover which will combine Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Luke Cage, and the yet to be seen Iron Fist?

Who will win the battle for Hell's Kitchen? Will we see more hints of Jessica, Luke or the other Defenders? We won't know for sure until "Daredevil" season two is released March 18.
