The New York International Auto Show is so close, I can almost feel the warmth of the show floor's blazing lights.

This year's show is filled with tons of cars Americans haven't yet seen, as well some cars that none of the world has been seen. We're excited, and you should be too.

These are the seven cars we can't wait to see at NYIAS later this week.

The Jaguar F-Type SVR is an insane British sports car capable of 200 MPH.

It was shown off to the European markets at the Geneva Motor Show, but now it's our turn to get a peak at all that fresh new carbon fiber and the extra aerodynamic bits.

We're expecting to see a whole new Subaru Impreza.

So far, the only thing the world really knows about the new Impreza is that the front left corner will probably look something like what's shown in the picture above.

Beyond that, your guess is as good as ours.

The new Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is an incredibly capable track car with more power than anyone really needs.

The 640 horsepower Chevy Camaro ZL1 isn't just some high-powered Camaro, it's an incredibly high-powered Camaro that can go around corners really, really well.

It's also one of the most fierce muscle cars we've seen in a good while.

It will be shown off in-person to the general public later this week at NYIAS. Get excited.

An updated Nissan GT-R is coming.

From the looks of things, it's unlikely that this new Nissan GT-R will be much more than a light refresh, but that's okay. Change is good. Well, at least when you're working with a car that's aged as much as this current generation of GT-R.

Later this week, we'll all know what's going on.

We didn't get enough of the enthusiast-friendly Porsche 911R in Geneva.

It's one thing to know that a 500 horsepower, rare, vintage-looking Porsche 911 exists, but it's a whole other thing to be able to see it in person and potentially even have the opportunity to sit in it.

Thankfully, that's exactly what NYIAS is for.

We'll get to see just how practical the new McLaren 570GT really is.

We saw it at Geneva over the internet, but here in New York, we'll actually get a decent sense of how useful the new 570GT actually is.

Storage capacity numbers are great, but you can't really gauge that sort of thing until you bring all your luggage with you and try to actually stuff it inside the car.

That may or may not happen at NYIAS, but at least we'll get a better idea of what's really going on here.

The Koenigsegg Regera is at the top of the game.

We saw this Bugatti-competitor at Geneva, but we're hoping it'll also make an appearance here in New York.

Wouldn't you want to see a 250MPH hybrid hypercar in the flesh?
