Recently, both Entertainment Weekly and Empire Magazine released huge cover stories on the upcoming movie which reveal a lot about the upcoming showdown between the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel.

While both articles are worth a read for fans, they're only available in print. If you're unable to get a hold of them, we've gone through the lengthy reads, and, surprisingly, there are a lot of spoilers out in the open about the new film.

Bruce Wayne won't be living in Wayne mansion.

According to Empire, Wayne and his butler Alfred Pennyworth will be spending their days at a "sleek lakeside residence." Wayne manor? It burnt a while back.

Alfred sounds like more of a former James Bond than a butler.

Don't expect Jeremy Iron's version of Bruce Wayne's right-hand man to be a mere medicine man and butler.

He's described as someone with a "particular set of special-ops skills." We're imagining Liam Neeson in "Taken" meets the more rugged and brash Alfred from Fox's "Gotham."

"He's a man who can actually do anything if he has to," Irons tells Empire.

Batman's voice will be digitally altered.

It sounds like Ben Affleck won't have to worry about making any gnarled, growling sounds as the Bat. Instead, his voice will be masked in a way similar to the Green Arrow's on the popular CW series.

"Batman's voice is digitally altered by the cowl," says producer Deborah Snyder.

Expect to see Batman whip out some Kryptonite.

Will Batman get some Kryptonite from Lex Luthor? Warner Bros

While on set for the film, Empire said they were swept past images of the Bat's gadgets "married to a lime-green glow." It sounds like Batman will have some Kryptonite to weaken Superman in his arsenal.

There will indeed be a nightmare sequence.

The entire sequence where you see Batman in a "Mad Max"-like apocalyptic world is part of a dream-like nightmare scenario. The parts in the trailer where you see Superman tearing off Batman's mask is also part of this dream sequence, according to Empire.

There's a really clear reason why Batman is going after Superman in the new film.

"If there is a one per cent chance that Superman is going to cause death in his being here, it has to be treated like an absolute certainty," Ben Affleck explained to Empire.

Jesse Eisenberg originally met with director Zack Snyder for a role other than Lex Luthor.

It's not clear what that role was, but after meeting Snyder thought Eisenberg was a perfect fit for the role — a mix between a witty charmer and a man full of rage that's described as a mix between the "wisecracking psychopathology of the Joker, the self-satisfied clever-clogsiness of the Riddler, and the big-picture scheming of the Penguin."

We'll see Lex Luthor lose his hair.

Fans are used to seeing the Superman antagonist without hair. Warner Bros. previously released an image of Eisenberg showing off the iconic look last March and it looks like we'll also see him bald in "BvS."

"Not only will I lose my own hair I will lose my house," said Eisenberg.

The Wonder Woman we see in the film will be over 5,000 years old.

Clark Kent won't be a stumbling, bumbling shell of a human being.

If you've ever watched a Superman adaptation, Clark Kent really goes out of his way to make himself blend in with humans. In doing so, his performance is sometimes so over the top that he looks like a caricature of a human being. That won't be the case in "Batman v Superman."

Via Empire:

"This is the modern, believable version of Clark: no tripping over ennis balls, no banging into elevator doors, no nudging slippery specs back up his nose."

Superman is living with Lois Lane.

The trailers didn't lead you astray. The two will be living together in a cozy Metropolis apartment.

Lex Luthor and Batman will be working together against Superman.

Don't plan on that lasting forever.

But at the start of the film, Batman/Bruce Wayne is going to be pretty upset and untrusting of Superman because of all the destruction wrought at the end of "Man of Steel." He sees him as a menace.

Luthor will definitely pit the two superheroes against each other.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Luthor "orchestrates a mass murder aimed at turning the two heavy hitters against each other."

The big villain, Doomsday, will be made using General Zod's remains.

Yup. This is essentially General Zod reborn. Warner Bros.

The EW article lays it all out there — Doomsday is a combination of Kryptonian relics and General Zod's corpse from "Man of Steel." If you were paying close attention to the trailers, you may have already guessed this, but now there's little up for debate in his creation.

The Flash will appear in a vision.

Or maybe it's not a vision. EW hints that his appearance may be more real than you initially think if you're familiar with the hero's ability to travel across worlds and through time and space.

Via EW:

"Fans will have to debate whether it was really a dream or maybe the kinetic hero breaking through the time-space to deliver a warning."

This version of the Scarlet Speedster will be played by Ezra Miller ("Trainwreck").

Jena Malone's character has been cut from the theatrical version of the film.

Fans thought Malone ("The Hunger Games" franchise) may be playing a version of Robin in the film. Instead, fans will have to wait for her to show up in the R-rated version of the movie when it's released on Blu-ray.
