Warning: There are spoilers ahead if you haven't seen "Batman v Superman."
Monday, Warner Bros. released a deleted scene from "Batman v Superman," and the studio is really doubling-down on its hints for an impending villain in the DC Extended Universe.
The 44-second clip gives some more context on where Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) was in the moments before we was arrested at the film's end.
It looks like he was just hanging out in the Kryptonian ship, getting chummy with some other alien life form.
First, give it a watch.
This looks like it's another hint at a future villain, Darkseid. Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) has a vision hinting at the popular DC villain earlier in the film.

Is that Darkseid? Probably not. It doesn't really look like him.

So, who are we looking at?
Fans seem to believe this is Steppenwolf, one of Darkseid's generals, who Luthor is channeling.
He certainly has the right look:
