Aston Martin's newest sports car is stunning

Aston Martin's new DB9 replacement, the DB11, is beautiful, powerful, and stately. Three things Astons are supposed to be.

The DB11, announced Tuesday, is a twin-turbocharged, 600 horsepower sports car that reaches zero to 60 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds. In the most elegantly British fashion, of course.

To go along with the huge twin-turbo motor, the DB11 uses an eight-speed automatic transmission and a fancy torque vectoring limited slip differential in the rear to help it go around corners better.

As was the case with the last DB model, the DB11 has room behind the front seats to fit two extra passengers. Though Aston says they've improved headroom over the last model, it'd probably be safe to just save those backseats for small children. And good news! If stuffing children in the crevice behind the front seats was your plan, there are ISOFIX child seat mounting hooks that can easily be hooked up to child seats.

Up front, there's a familiar push button start, a 12-inch center display, steering wheel-mounted shift paddles, a gauge cluster made up of screens, and what to look to be some very comfortable leather seats.

All this British beauty will cost about $212,000. Deliveries will begin late 2016.
