Here are the new features coming to the Apple Watch

The Apple Watch is getting a facelift with the launch of its new operating system called Watch OS 3.

The updates were announced at Apple's major event WWDC Monday. The free update is rolling out in the fall.

Apps will launch seven times faster than they did before.

Smart reply will let you select an automatic response to an iMessage.

Scribble will let you write an iMessage using your finger.

You will be able to automatically dial 911 by pressing the hold button for three seconds.

After the call is complete, it will let you automatically alert emergency contacts with a map of your given location. If you're in a different country, it will know to dial that country's emergency service number.

You will be able to see if you're exercising more than your contacts in a given day.

You can "compete" with friends and family also wearing an Apple Watch by tracking how your activity is comparing with theirs. You can also communicate with them through the Activity app using Smart Reply, Scribble, or by leaving an Audio message.

Wheelchair users will be able to use the Activity App too.

It tracks wheelchair pushes and will say "Time to Roll" instead of "Time to Stand."

The watch will also offer a new app called "Breathe" that helps guide you through deep breathing sessions.

You can also set alerts to get reminders about practicing deep breathing.

Apple also announced two new watch faces: a new numeral-style watch face and a Minnie Mouse watch face.
