Robotics company Boston Dynamics, a company under Alphabet's Google X lab, is known for making some super cool robots.
One of them is called Spot — a robot dog that's been undergoing testing since September to scout for danger for the Marines. But Spot met a new foe on Saturday when it faced off with a feisty Welsh Terrier named Cosmo.
Cosmo is the dog of Andy Rubin, the co-founder of Android — and it was not a fan of its new robot acquaintance.
Cosmo barked and circled around Spot in an attempt to show off its dominance. Either it was terrified of the robot or knew it was no match because Cosmo did not stop angrily barking at the robot once.
Interestingly enough, Spot responded much like a normal dog would under that situation — by crouching down and occasionally stepping away from the fight.
At the end of the day, Cosmo won the face off. It looks like real dogs still prevail over robots!
